Itinerary
Day 01: Airport | Colombo
Airport – Negombo: 35 minutes
You will be transfered to the City of Colombo. The City Tour of Colombo by bicycles will commence in the evening. Pedal your way through the illuminated streets of the city come dusk and see many a prominent landmark while experiencing the metropolitan’s omniscient charm and riveting story unravel as you navigate the roads. Your cycling tour will commence at 6:30pm from GOH, where you will be briefed in detail and made familiar with your cycling gear & equipment.

Day 02: Colombo | Sigiriya Rock | Sigiriya
Colombo – Sigiriya: 4 hours
Following a hearty early breakfast, you will embark to the majestic Sigiriya rock fortress, so be prepared to climb 1200 steps and see the fabulous frescos and other archeological marvels. The rest of your day will be leisurely.

Day 03: Sigiriya | Hiriwaduna | Ritigala | Sigiriya
Sigiriya – Hiriwaduna: 10 minutes
Hiriwaduna – Ritigala: 40 minutes
Wake at the first whispers of dawn and drive to Hiriwaduna; a tranquil village nestled around a reservoir located off the main Habarana road. Your lunch will be provided at a local house in the village for a complete authentic Lankan experience. You will leave to the mystic Ritigala ruins in the afternoon.

Day 04: Sigiriya | Kandy
Sigiriya – Kandy: 2 ½ hours
Once you have had your breakfast, we will depart to the historical City of Kandy. In Kandy you will be ushered to sightseeing the hill capital in its glory including a visit to the much-revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic for “pooja” ceremony by day’s end.

Day 05: Kandy | Knuckles Mountain Range | Kandy
Tour in Knuckles Mountain Range – approx. 8 ½ hours
Embark on your hike beneath the startling Knuckles Mountain Range, winding towards the Riverstone Radio Tower and even farther. This here is an unforgettable passage with nature unfolding her grand hands revealing the marvels therein from endemic birds and butterflies to a variety of trees and plants which are tourist favourites and a fixture of the Knuckles National Heritage and Wilderness Area. You will thereafter venture back to the Hotel.

Day 06: Kandy | Nuwara Eliya
Kandy – Nuwara Eliya: approx. 2 ½ hours
You will depart to the lavish tea country hills of Nuwara Eliya. No visit to the hill country’s heart would be complete without a visit to a tea plantation and tea factory which will be a mesmeric experience. While in Nuwara Eliya prepare yourself for a detailed tour of the city and its lush, naturally remarkable surroundings.

Day 07: Nuwara Eliya | Horton Plains | Nuwara Eliya
Horton Plains trek: 3-4 hours including transfers
You shall depart to Horton Plains for a 3 hour trek to the stupendous ‘World’s End’ and bear witness to the striking and famous bridal veil dubbed as ‘Baker’s Falls’. This trek is ideal for those with tremendous reserves of energy with a penchant for challenging adventure.

Day 08: Nuwara Eliya | Kithulgala | Negombo
Nuwara Eliya – Kitulgala; 2 ½ hours
Kitulgala – Negombo: 3 hours
You will depart once you’ve consumed breakfast and head for a special adrenaline filled White Water Rafting excursion in Kitulgala. You will thereafter head back to Colombo.
