Country Feeling Holidays (CFH) recently hosted 10 French travel agents in collaboration with Sri Lankan Airlines and “Visiteurs en Asie” to explore the wonders of Jaffna and the North East region. The familiarization tour from November 6 to 11 garnered positive feedback, setting the stage for upcoming
missions till 2024/2025. Supported by local hotels and suppliers, CFH tailored the itinerary to showcase Jaffna and key island destinations suited for the French market.
These agents will conduct promotional activities in France, aiming to boost awareness and drive French tourists to Sri Lanka, particularly highlighting Jaffna’s cultural richness. Dilshan de Silva, CFH’s Managing Director, highlighted Jaffna’s cultural significance and the opportunity these initiatives bring during the industry’s rebuilding phase. Anticipating Jaffna to emerge as a travel hotspot, he expressed enthusiasm in promoting this captivating city globally.
